Synthetic Reagents

Some chemicals used in synthesis are more functional, and provide the means for carrying out many chemical transformations. Some are used in relatively large quantities, but others are highly specialised and used in more trace amounts. Widely used examples include: reagents for oxidation and reduction, halogenation, amination and phosphorylation; well-known reactions such as Wittig-Horner, Mitsunobu and Suzuki-Miyaura coupling; and a variety of needs including the protection of sensitive groups and many specialist catalysts.

Gee Lawson offers a range of such materials for both common and novel applications and welcomes any enquiry for other materials which fit into this category. Our access to flexible custom synthesis partners also allows us to source larger quantities of synthetic reagents which have so far only be developed in the laboratory.
